How to pay
Our membership year runs from 1 April. The Annual Subscription is £18 per individual.
If joining between 1 October and 31 December, the fee is reduced to £9 per individual for the remainder of the membership year.
If joining between 1 January and 31 March, the fee is £18, which covers your membership for the following year, so you get a bonus of 3 months' free!
Our newsletter will be sent out to you monthly by email. u3a's members' magazine, u3a matters (Previously Third Age Matters), is published five times a year. It is packed with stories about members and u3a activities, plus celebrity interviews and features on technology, recipes, travel, competitions, and a lively and popular letters section. It is available free of charge via the link on our website, or it can posted to you at an additional cost of £4 per annum. The £4 fee applies irrespective of when in the year you join. Please be sure to select the correct membership option from the drop down list on the form if you want to receive it by post.

How we use your information
We collect the information from the membership application form for our legitimate purposes and undertake to store and handle it securely. We use it for membership administration, to communicate with you about the u3a, to share with group leaders for those groups that you are a member of; and to send you general information about The Third Age Trust (the national organisation to which u3a groups are affiliated). Any additional information we record about you in connection with u3a activities will be based on your consent which can be subsequently withdrawn at any time.
